October minutes Sara Quin of Tegan and Sara at Osheaga 2013, in which we talk about inspiration, Montreal and shoes!

It was in 1995, decided as twin sisters Tegan and Sara Quin to make (luckily for us) to start music together. Debut at # 3 on the Billboard 200, the idol was certified gold in Canada and in the running for the prestigious Polaris Music Prize 2013. Congratulations for the Polaris Prize name! Do you suspect this album will be something special when you were first written and recorded? I have and I do not think that you always know what we have done, one could easily record the shit [laughs], but I had this strong feeling, which was a relief, because when we finished our tour last album did, I do not know what to do. I really felt for the first time in our career, I do not want to write, I wanted to take the time, and I thought, "What do we do now" I felt like we have some? suggested as a kind of ceiling. So we have a year moved and then began writing songs right away and I said, "It is well I sat down with the producers and musicians that we work with the files and I remember hubris infiltrate a bit where I was like! , 'That looks great, I felt very confident on the material, and I was like, "These songs are great, it is so fun to be a record."   I am so happy that people like it seriously, we are to please people, we will never bother critic or something like that.
